Monica Sheral is a Paris-based writer and conceptual lead. Writing, for her, is painting with words — a way an idea is transmuted into a being.

She believes in sensual intelligence: the psychology between human need, the senses, and emotion, in service of a shared experience. She works around feeling. Her work comes from unraveling her own interiority — pulling apart small moments from people-watching and memory, then weaving them into stories.

With a background in psychology and performance, she's produced plays and The Clark Dolls, self-published the short story collection Daddy & Tea Cakes, co-written Black Conversations, and now directs the short film Chez Nous.

Her aim is total honesty — an attempt at a soul stumbling toward a philosophy, with equal parts determination and uncertainty.
